Your Passport to Haute Horlogerie

Discover the new Classic Worldtimer Manufacture, a masterpiece of Haute Horlogerie that combines an essential travel function with a striking aesthetic.

The beating heart of this model is its magnificent dial designed in authentic blue Lapis Lazuli stone. For the first time, lapis lazuli is used both on the main part of the dial and on the decentralized date display at six o’clock. This spectacular mineral base is highlighted by a white city ring displaying the 24 main time zones. Its day/night indicator is calibrated over 24 hours, with the day (silvered) and night (blue) naturally separated into two sections. For optimal readability, even in the dark, the applied indices and the hour and minute hands are silvered and filled with a white luminous treatment.

At the core of the watch beats the FC-718 Manufacture automatic calibre, a movement entirely developed and assembled in-house by us. This mechanism is particularly remarkable because all of its functions — hours, minutes, seconds, date by hand at 6 o’clock, and worldtimer — are adjustable via the single crown, simplifying use for the modern traveler.

The movement is a demonstration of the watchmaking art, decorated with Perlage and circular Côtes de Genève finishes. It offers a reliable 38-hour power reserve. The threaded case back is engraved and transparent, allowing you to admire the mechanism in action.

This model is a limited edition of only 718 pieces. The individual number of this edition is engraved both on the movement and on the case back, guaranteeing its unique character.

The 3-part polished stainless steel case has an ideal diameter of 42 mm. It is protected by an anti-reflective convex sapphire crystal. The watch is fitted with an elegant dark blue alligator leather strap with off-white stitching, secured by a folding clasp.

A USEFUL COMPLICATION

In the first place, a useful complication, the Worldtimer – not a creation of watchmakers for watchmakers, but a piece that will be routinely used by a wide audience. This great invention intended for exploration and travel can be used to read, instantly, the exact time in the 24 cities representing the 24 reference time zones – with, the added bonus of an immediate indication of which of them are currently experiencing night or day. New York, Bangkok, Rio de Janeiro or Dubai: each city is a beckoning to escape which, for 10 years, has carried in it the dreams of all the world’s globetrotters.

THE WORLD WITHIN REACH

Represented on its dial across the five continents, these marvels of nature are the witnesses of a world that has been built by events but by civilisations too. Precious guardians of cultures and traditions as well as know-how, they perpetuate their heritage and enable those who so wish to open up their minds to different practices and customs, in order to enrich their experience.

Manufacture

SIMPLE, ACCURATE, INTUITIVE

The in-house self-winding FC-718 mechanical movement has a power reserve of 38 hours. Highly user-friendly, its single crown can be used to set any function: hours, minutes, the date at 6 o’clock and the 24 cities disc that represents 24 time zones on Earth, itself engraved in the centre of the piece. There is no day/night indicator required; the inner disc has been engraved with 12 hours on the light area (cities where it is daytime) and 12 hours on the blue area (those where it is night-time).
